Syllabus of AFMC entrance exam : -
AFMC exam duration is 2 hours . It will have 200 multiple choice questions . There are 50 questions in Biology , Chemistry 50 questions , 50 questions in Physics, 25 questions of logic , intelligence and reasoning, 25 questions in English and understanding. For every wrong answer will be negative marking. The question of the entrance exam is based on material that is usually followed by the board of higher secondary .

Eligibility for AFMC Entrance Exam : -

Basic requirements for qualification in 10 +2 with physics, chemistry, biology and English. The minimum score is the mark of 60 % or more in the PCB. They do not have to print the value of less than 50 % in English and other sciences. Those who have passed any equivalent plus two with PCB and English as a candidate in question also must have passed mathematics in 10 standard

Age 17 years or before December 31 of the application year . Age limit is 25 years. There are exceptions to every 5 years for those belonging to SC, ST or OBC .

Candidates participating in the final year B. Sc must be 24 years of implementation. Candidates must be citizens of India. Those who have been to Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan and other countries in order to settle permanently in India can apply. Students do not have to get married . Also not allowed to marry between classes. Candidates must be physically fit .

Prospectus and forms can be purchased from ( registration ) , the Armed Forces Medical College , Pune by paying one hundred fifty five Demand Draft should be addressed to the Commander, AFMC , Pune. Applicants must also submit two separate articles 9cms x 5 cm in size with DD . Applicants must also include a request for application forms and prospectus. Candidates must complete all the details very well. They can send a completed application form with Demand Draft of Rs 250 / - in AFMC Pune. Applicants must also include the name and registration through the draft request for referral .

Candidates can also purchase an image from the post office designated by paying the amount of Rs 250 / - through Demand Draft . The form followed herein is similar to the online application . Should send a stamped envelope to the address of the applicant. The envelope must also have 60 rupees stamp and size must be 11 " X13 . ​​AFMC does not accept the idea of ​​nationalized banks . ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA FOR GSET 2014 GUJARAT SET EXAM 

 Eligibility Criteria
     

    Only those candidates are eligible to appear in the GSET (only for subject of Library and Information Science ) who have completed / are studying in the final year of a UGC specified Master' s degree in the subject of Library and Information Science.

    Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (General / OBC) (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in the subject of Library and Information Science are eligible for this Test. The Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Physically Handicapped (PH)/ Visually Handicapped (VH) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination in the subject of Library and Information Science are eligible for this Test.

    Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing in the final year at the qualifying Master’s degree examination in the subject of Library and Information Science or whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for the Test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for Lectureship only after they have passed their Master’s degree examination or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST/PH/VH category candidates)in the subject of Library and Information Science. These candidates must obtain their P.G. degree / marksheet within two years from the date of SET Examination with required percentage of marks, failing which they will be treated as disqualified.

    The Ph.D. degree holders in the subject of Library and Information Science whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e., from 55% to 50%) for appearing in the SET Examination.

    Those candidates who are studying in the last semester of Master's Degree in the subject of Library and Information Science cannot appear for this test.

    There is no upper age limit.

    Candidates belonging to SC / ST / PH / VH / OBC(latest Non - Creamy Layer certificate) category are required to submit an attested copy of their Certificate alongwith the Online Printout of their Application Forms. Other candidates are not required to submit any certificates / documents in support of their eligibility along with printout of their Application Form. Therefore, the candidates, in their own interest, must satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the Test. In the event of any ineligibility detected by the agency at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled and their candidature will be cancelled and they shall be liable for legal action.

    Candidates having post-graduate diploma/certificate in the subject of Library and Information Science awarded by Indian University/Institute or foreign degree/diploma/certificate awarded by the foreign University/Institute should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence of their diploma/degree/certificate with Master's degree of recognized Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.     Candidates may note that the verification of eligibility conditions with reference to the documents as may be called for will be taken up only after the candidate has qualified in the Test. If in the event of you being found ineligible at any stage for the award due to any reason (including unintentional computer error or printer’s devil etc.), the award may be withdrawn by Gujarat SET Agency.
